Bill Hooper was a special man . He was the choir director at the Congregational Church in Scappoose . He sang many lovely solos at church . I have many happy memories of Bill at church , as a family friend, snd working with him at Thriftway . When I was under 21 and working at the check stand , Bill often had to run to the my cash register and ring in a beer sake that I was forbidden to do. I feel blessed to have known him .
Our memory of Bill is how he was always smiling and welcoming to us. We lived with them for awhile and he was always so kind and helpful. Blessings on you all. He never met anyone that was not his friend. God Bless
Bill was a wonderful man! He worked for P&G Thriftway before becoming a purveyor of spirits. I had the honor of working with him in the store. I remember him singing in choir of the First Congregational Church is Scappoose -- he had a lovely voice. He was funny, smart, and kind. I know he will be greatly missed.
