William D. Woolstenhulme's Obituary
William D. Woolstenhulme was born on February 9, 1912 in Fremont, Idaho to Daniel & Ellen Birch Woolstenhulme.
He died October 22, 2007 at a care center in Longview, WA.
He married Margret E. Stansbury on November 26, 1937 in Vancouver, WA., thier marriage was later solemized on June 1960 at the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
He worked for the St. Helens Fir Tex Plant and later Kaiser Gypsum from 1936 until his retirement in 1974. He began as a laborer and became a foreman and for several years was superintendent on half of the plant.
He was a member of the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He held several positions in the church, including Ward Clerk, President of the Sunday school, assistant in the High Priest Group and the Family History Center worker.
He enjoyed his farm and taking care of his cows, gardening and made many woodcrafts that decorated and furnished their home. He and his wife Margaret enjoyed working side by side on their farm, in the garden and canning thier produce. They also built their new home together after he retired.
He is survived by his four sons: Gary of Phoenix, AZ.; Ron Verrla of Nampa, Idaho; Philip & Barry both of St. Helens; Sister: Helen Cliff Reynolds of Sheridan; 16 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, 4 brothers: Ezra, Orval, Robert and Ralph; 2 sisters: Lilian & Verga.
Funeral Service: Monday, 10/29/07 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints-St. Helens
Committal service & vault interment: Bethany Memorial Cemetery-Warren, Oregon
