William G. Cotton's Obituary
William G. Cotton was born on April 25, 1940 in San Francisco, CA. to George & Evelyn Stump Matthews.
He died at his home in Scappoose on December 28, 2011 at the age of 71.
William was educated in Medford, Oregon graduating in 1958 going on to college in Seattle. He lived in California growing up, then in Texas, to Oregon and Scappoose in 1979 until present.
He married Debra West in Portland on May 22, 1975, she preceded him in death in 2003.
William had worked for other companies in his working years but retired in 2001 after 3 years in maintenance at Bridgeport Brewery.
He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing, drag racing and family
Survivors include: 2 Sons: Wes Cotton of Scappoose, OR.; Kyle Cotton of Scappoose, OR.; Brothers: Jim Cotton of Arcata, CA. & Steve Cotton of CA.; 1 Grandchild: Avah Cotton.
