William H. Schur, Sr.'s Obituary
William H. Schur, Sr. was born on May 14, 1920 in Providence, R.I. to Otto & Agnes Stubbs Schur.
He died on February 9, 2006 at his home in Scappoose, Oregon at the age of 85.
He was the oldest of four siblings graduating in 1938. He went into the Navy in 1942 and was discharged in 1945. While stationed in Florida he married Verna Smith in 1943, she preceded him in death in 1997. He was a technician for the government.
Survivors include: Children: Rayeann Schur of Riverside, CA.; William H. Schur, Jr. of Scappoose, OR.; Robert Schur of Irvine, CA.; Siblings: Evelyn "Cindy" Young of Oceanside, CA.; John "Jack" Schur of Irvine, CA.; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
