Bud was the best grandfather anyone could hope to have. We spent hours together and I visited him whenever I was home when I was older and all the time when I was young. He was a mean cribbage player and always won. I was convinced, and still am, that he cheated but I just could never catch him. He and I always beat Dorothy and Sean, every time we played pinochle. We played for hours and Dorothy often referred to him as a "dirty bird" when he bid against her. He and I had a fondness for Grandma's cookies and cake. She protested when I sneaked cookies, but Grandpa was always happy because I would share. He was very fond of milk, dunked cookies and drizzled it over peaches. His woodworking is legendary. I have a clock he built and I couldn't get it to run until the day he passed, I think he got it all fixed up for me. I'm sure he's having a graham cracker, a slice of Grandmas chocolate cake and a glass of milk that he made her heat up just a little in the microwave right now. I'm happy they are together and feel a piece of my heart is with him. I love you and thank you Grandpa.##imported-begin##Michele Fagan##imported-end##
