Winnifred Marion Wright's Obituary
Winnifred M. Wright was born on July 23, 1907 in Leedey, Oklahoma to Matt & Mary Jane Love Jones.
She died at a Portland hospital on January 23, 2005 at the age of 98.
She has lived in St. Helens since the early 1940's. Married to Leon on January 28, 1945 in St. Helens, OR., he preceded her in death on 9/24/73.
She was a homemaker and worked at the hospital as a nurses aid for 22 years, starting in 1957.
She also volunteered at the Senior center and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include: Son: James Wright of Beaverton, OR.; Daughter: Barbara Rogers of Ajo, Arizona; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Memorial service: Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 11:00 AM at First Christian Church-St. Helens, OR.
Private interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery.
