Yance A. Miller died on Saturday May 24, 2008, at his home in St. Helens. He was 91
Miller was born on January 25, 1917 in Oakfield, Maine.
On July 13, 1940, he married Donna Bailie. Yance served aboard the U.S.S. West Virginia during WW II. In the mid-50s he ran a food mobile that served the area's rural community.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday May 29, 2008 at the First Christian Church in St. Helens, at 11:00 am.
Wife, Donna Miller of St. Helens, his children survives Miller, Craig Miller of St. Helens, Brian Miller of Columbia City, and Diane Miller Jennings of Twin Lakes, Idaho. Eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson also survive him.
Memorial contributions may be made to a hospice program.
