I was actually looking/googling for the Autobody Warehouse information as a building just burnt down in Portland and I was wondering if it was their old building. I then came across Al's Obituary. His photo in his blue coat is exactly how I remember Al. My sister and I both dated their son's Richard and Curt long ago and once very close to the family. This tribute brought back many good memories as well as some sad ones. Al and Audrey were the kindest most patient Parents I knew back in the day. Al was always friendly even though he worked very long hours. You always remember the "firsts" in you life, and I remember Al because he was my first real estate client. He was helping his son Curt buy his first house. It was quite an experience for me and I'm sure for him also as he was dealing with a 'newbie' I appreciated his patience and willingness to work with me to get the deal closed. We talked about how his ancestors came from the same area in Russia as my in-laws. Condolences to his family and friends.
