Corey Ray Ellis' Obituary
Corey Ray Ellis was born on October 11, 1977 in St. Helens, Oregon to Raymond & Charlotte Briggs Ellis.
He died at his home in Portland on January 20, 2009 at the age of 31.
He attended and graduated from St. Helens Hi in 1996. He joined the Air Force and was in for 7 years. He worked as a pasta cook at Capers Cafe at the Portland Airport since 2008.
He lived in Albany for a time with his grandparents then moving to Portland. He had enrolled and almost completed courses at Oregon Culinary Institute.
He was involved with WWF Wrestling with the AXO, as a commentator and wrestled with them as ZyGoR.
He also enjoyed video games and poker.
Survivors include: Grandparents: Lewis & Julia Briggs, Sr. of Albany; Father: Raymond Ellis of Troutdale; Siblings: Michelle Mancera of Albany; Heather Ronald of Gresham; Stephan Ellis of Springfield, OR.; Fiance': Heather Hausen of Portland; Heather's daughter, Adia Bonneville who he had planned to adopt once they were married. numerous nieces & nephews.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Caples House in Columbia City, OR.
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
