Darlene Fay Kegg's Obituary
Darlene Fay Kegg was born on September 30, 1936 in Great Bend, Kansas to August A. Yarmer, Sr. & Nova J. Baker.
She died at her home in Columbia City on September 28, 2013 at the age of 76.
Darlene moved to Deer Island (Tide Creek) in 1952 went on to graduate from St. Helens High School in 1954. She married Al Hamilton on March 5, 1957, they lived in St. Helens and he preceded in death on September 6, 1986. She remarried on April 6, 1991 to Jack Kegg, they lived in Columbia City starting in 1992 until present. He also preceded her in death on January 2, 2009.
She worked as a clerk at Ace Hardware, her enjoyments included poker machines, baking, her grandkids and early on knitting. Darlene was a member of St. Frederic Catholic Church.
She was a twin and the next to the youngest of six children. They have all preceded her in death.
Survivors include: Son: Robert Hamilton, Daughter: Debra Hamilton Sharron, Stepdaughter: Julia Kegg; 5 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild.
