Dean B. Harper's Obituary
Bobby "Dean" Harper was born August 24, 1962 in Portland Oregon to Bobby and Emma Floyd Harper. He died in Portland on July 20, 2011 at the age of 48.
He graduated from Sherwood High School in 1980 and married Sonja Herbst on July 25, 1987. They had two children; Britney Jean and Beau Dean. The family lived in Warren. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Harper of Tualatin.
Dean owned his own Excavation Company for the past 20 years. His interests were hunting, riding 4 wheelers, and tractors. He was a member of the Rodeo Committee and the St. Helens Elks Lodge.
Dean's life was remembered by family and friends at a place he loved - The Columbia County Fair Grounds on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 1:00 PM.
He was remembered through stories, pictures, music and sharing a meal.
