Delores A. Anderson's Obituary
Delores A. Anderson February 27, 1919 ~ August 14, 2016
Delores A. Anderson went to be with her Lord surrounded by her beloved family on August 14, 2016 at the age of 97.
Mom was born in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin to Jesse R. and Anna Young. She was the youngest of 5 children, which all have preceded her in death.
Mom married the love of her life, Lawrence R. Anderson, on April 6, 1940 and moved to Roseburg, Oregon in 1947 where they started a new life after WWII. Dad’s employment brought our family to Scappoose, Oregon in 1968.
We mourn Mom because she is gone, but rejoice that she is no longer in pain and has gone to be with her Lord. Delores was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a wonderful, caring woman with an abundance of love and patience. She will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved her.
She has been preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband of 61 years and her son David Anderson. She is survived by daughters Judy (Anderson) Vie of Roswell, New Mexico and Janet (Anderson) Skipworth of Warren, Oregon. Also surviving her is David’s widow, Cheryl Anderson of Battleground, Washington, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
