Betty,
"my favorite sister-in-law" which we jokingly and lovingly addressed one another, was one in a million. I pray that I can follow her example of how to live with humor, optimism, love of her friends and family, and especially how to die with dignity and grace. Her unflagging cheerfulness and humor helped us cope with her illness. How like her to put us before herself. We will all miss her greatly. May the good Lord bless and keep her.##imported-begin##Ray and Myrna Messer##imported-end##
Gordon, Michelle, Carl and Elizabeth,
We will keep you in our hearts and prayers over the coming weeks as you adjust to life without a great lady.
Betty was very special to me and I feel privileged to have spent so much time with her in her last year of life. She taught me more than I can put into words.
We love all of you,

Aunt Betty has taught me so much over the years. She showed me how to live and enjoy life to the fullest...and how to die with dignity and grace. Her wonderful sense of humor was evident even in the last week of her life. I will keep her in my heart forever! Mary Jo##imported-begin##Mary Jo Schlosser##imported-end##
Aunt Betty shall forever be remeber by me as someone who I could talk to no matter what the subject was, she could find humor in almost any situation and wasn't afraid to laugh at herself. She taught me so much I could never put it all here. She was my friend, my confidant, and a second Mother to me##imported-begin##Linda Schlosser##imported-end##
