Elsie and Len were our neighbors. They gave shelter to my deceased boyfriend when he needed it. Len helped me with my often cranky car. and when I moved back to St. Helens, dear Elsie gave me rides to local stores when my cranky car went poof on me and for a special treat, she took me and sometimes my best friend, Pat to a local eatery for lunch. Elsie sent me the most lovely cards for my birthday and Christmas and I kept and cherished each one. :)) She gave me great advice when I needed it and lifted my spirits so much when Duane passed. In other words, she made life bearable when it wasn't. Elsie, I never told you this, but you were like my mother and oh, how I will miss you! You are resting in the arms of Jesus now. Bless you!

Our times with Elsie were always wonderful because of her peaceful nature. She is the epitome of selflessness and forgiveness. We will miss our friend and pray that the knowledge of her salvation will bring peace to those who loved her.

Elsie was a wonderful person. When I was in 7th and 8th grade, she made me some school dresses. They were my favorites! It is so hard to lose your mom. I think of my mom everyday and I will always miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time. Sending hugs and love ❤️ .
