Goldie,
We will miss you very much. Entertaining us with your antics, licking the electrical cord that dropped in the batter, brushing your teeth with deep heat; trying to teach a number of us how to kill chickens & clean them. I can hear you laugh even now. We all laughed till we cried.
Spoiling us with your cinnamon rolls, monster cookies, home made cottage cheese and chicken & noodles, even on camping trips.
Many times my mother shared how during hard times you took food home to your younger sibling. She talked about your patience with her during the months she lived with you; your kindness to your older brother’s children after he died and the strength that got you through the loss of your babies at birth.
You let me share your home one summer when I was 10. It was my best summer for a long time. I learned to swim, learned my mother knew how to dance. Went to your job and watched you rewind a motor. Learned that you had even worked on motors so big you had to be lowered in them. Learned that you suffered through much of your life with arthritis and still you always had time for your family and extended family
You will be remember in so many ways,
Love Linda##imported-begin##Linda Skinner##imported-end##
