Goldie V. Parmeter's Obituary
Goldie V. Parmeter was born on Ocotber 12, 1923 in Altona, Minnesota to Lester & Lela Swanson Clayton.
She died at her home in Warren, Oregon on June 3, 2009 at the age of 85.
She lived most of her life in Sioux City, Iowa and moving to Hillsboro in 1977, living in the area for the past 14 years.
She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman J. Parmeter, Sr. in 1990.
Survivors include: Son & daughter-in-law: Norman J. Jr. & Judy Parmeter; 7 siblings: Darlene McCreary, Burnace Snodgrass, Joyce Meier, Doreen Cook, Gene, Marlin, & Bob Clayton; 2 grandchildren: Chad Parmeter, Heather Stephens; 5 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Madison, Kira, Haley, Brennen.
Memorial service: Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 6:30 PM at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall-Scappoose, Oregon.
Private interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland.
