Dear Hermina's Family,
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Hermina.
We used to work together at Montgomery Ward's back in the late 60's until l972 when the store closed.
For years the Montgomery Ward group met monthly in each other's homes for a potluck and visit. I remember going to her residence on Cowls Street many times. Hermina and Jim were gracious hosts.
I only visited her once at her home with the lovely view of McMinnville, but she was proud to show me her lovely yard and home.
My sympathy goes out to all of you.

Jim and Brad,I cannot tell you how much it saddened us to learn of your mother's death yesterday. She was very dear to us as a neighbor and a friend. We have missed her ever since her move to St. Helens. Herm and I had some great times together on 8th St., planning and adorning our gardens and homes, shopping,and just spending time together. I won't ever forget them or her. I would love to know more about her times in St. Helens. I have thought about her often and wondered about her health. I wrote her several times and tried to call, but never heard anything from her. Perhaps she was too ill.
