Hermina M. Sampson's Obituary
Hermina M. Sampson was born on January 19, 1931 in Eureka, CA. to Herman & Sophie Hoogerwirf Flagel.
She died at a St. Helens care facility on October 29, 2008 at the age of 77.
Hermina moved from California and attended grade school in LaFayette, OR., she graduated from McMinnville High School in 1949.
She married James J. Sampson on January 20, 1950 also in McMinnville, OR., he preceded her in death in 1998.
Hermina was a homemaker, a bookkeeper for Sears and Montgomery Wards, a home remodeler, a photographer, an avid gardener and she enjoyed arts & crafts. She lived all of her life in McMinnville until moving to St. Helens 3 years ago to be close to her son. She and her husband were members the McMinnville Elks Lodge.
Survivors include: Sons: James Sampson Sallie of St. Helens; Brad Sampson of Lacey, WA.; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Private interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland, Oregon.
