Jessica has never left my mind. I knew her for 10 short days in Boston when we attended NYLF together. I told her she looked just like Megan Fox! And she did, even prettier i'd say! Shes the first person i knew at my age to die and i think of her often although i didn't know her well. I study the bible often about death because the truth about it is so important to me. Dear Jess, Even Though We Had Lost Touch, I Still Think About You Like Crazy. Everytime I See Your Pictures Or Hear Your Name A New Memory Pops Into My Head. Like The Other Day I Was Looking at Your Picture And My Dad Called. Well That Made Me Remember That Time When We Were Rushing Around To Do All The Chores Before My Dad Showed Up. We Had Like Ten Minutes Before He Got Home, And We Agreed I Was Going To Go Fill The Dishwasher And You Were Going To Mow. Well After I'm Done Doing The Dishes I Look Out The Front Window To See If Your Done, I Will Never Forget What I Saw, You Were Mowing The Front Yard Like A Mad Man. It Was Totally Unsafe And My Neighbors Were Just Starring. It Was Shocking That A Girl As Small As You Could Push A Mower That Fast haha I Will Never Forget The Innocent Fun We Had Together. I loved showing up to wrestling practice knowing you would be there. The only other girl who threw them boys around with me. I remember in high school in P.E.every time the gym teacher told me what record I had to set to beat the highest record it was always yours. You ever had a time in your head replay over in over in random times? mine was in wrestling class with kids like 5 and up the coach looks at you and says alright Jessica when you were like 8 how many push ups we doing today ... you pause for second look at the coach and say a hundred like it was no big deal everyones laughing....the coach says we know you can do a hundred but lets do something like 10. I also remember I was going to church with you and your family the next morning after are last wrestling tournament, and you all drove me to my house to get shoes for church and it was like my first time ever going I just run inside and grab my shoes and when I got back to the car you just look at me and say "sneakers?" I was so embarrassed. I always look back and laugh at that. I realize this is absolutely long and probably to long for this ,but everyone misses you and loves you and we could probably go on forever about you. You were an amazing girl with an amazing heart. Ill keep you and your family in my prayers forever! They had a million people they can call for anything, including me!

I didn't know Jessica well. I had seen her around school a lot and she seemed like a very bright beautiful girl with a lot of potential. I'm sad I didn't the chance to know her, with hearing all these stories and memories a lot of people had with her, makes me sad that I can't share a memories about her. She is a very beautiful young lady. But I am glad she is pain free and with Jesus now, shes more happier than she could ever be down here. Everyone just remember you will see her again one day. Though her death was a complete accident, shes more happy than you could ever imagine. She is watching over all her friends and family, her school peers, her volleyball team, swim team, she is looking over everyone.
I will meet you one day Lady J.
But until that day, I can only imagine.

Dear Jessica,

Thank you for lighting up the world with that bright smile of yours. I Will always have fond memories of our volleyball days. Our tournaments were especially the funniest. You taught me how to be a better althete, person, and friend. You have inspired many people to pursue their hopes and dreams. Out of those short seventeen years you truley made an impact in this world, and I know thats what you wanted to do in life.

My thoughts are with you and your family everyday. Everytime I step foot on that court i know your with the team smiling looking down, rooting us on.

I didn't know Jessica all that well, other than she was one of my sister best friends and had been dating my cousin for a significant amount of time. I unfortunately was in Korea during her accident and couldn't physically console my family during their grieving. I happened to call at 11:30pm that night, and I know it was for a reason. Jessica was a very spunky, wonderful, loving talented girl. I would see the relationship her and my sister would having during swim practices my senior year their frosh year and watched it continue to grow as they got older. I was always envious of her amazing butterfly stroke. Words can't describe how touched I am by her attitude and ambitions even today. My heart and prayers are always with your family and there isn't a day I don't doubt that she's watching over us all.

Our kids, Ben Gremaux and Tasha Sharp were friends with Lady J and I can tell you that not a day goes by in our household where Jessica and your family is not thought of. Your daughter will be missed by many and our thoughts and prayers are still with you and will continue to be with you as days and years go by.
