I am saddened to hear that Goldie Smith passed away. She was a wonderful person who always made me feel like family. We shared 43 years of friendship and many memories. She cooked the best pinto beans and corn bread I ever had, and we had fun playing dominos together. She had a kind and godly heart, and she touched many lives with her generosity and warmth.
