I will miss her sense of humor, quickness to smile or laugh, and her ability to make everyone feel appreciated and loved. She was a blessing to all those who knew her and lived a life of significance beyond what most people ever get close to.
I always loved going to her house because she made me feel so very welcome and special. She would draw me a bubble bath in her clawfoot tub in that wonderful little pink bathroom in Columbia City. Then she fed me and anyone else who was there. Her pies and all of her cooking were absolutely delicious. And in recent years, she had the very best possible care in the world from Denice.
I loved her dearly and so did my family.
It will be the little things about her that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter, the singing--always perfect alto of course. I hope the memories will help push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.
I pray that you will be blessed in her absence and during this time of grief, Denice and Walden. May the love of those around you help you through this time.##imported-begin##Diane McDaniel##imported-end##
