So sorry to learn of your great loss, Patty K. I know what a difficult time this is for you and your family. My prayers are with you.##imported-begin##Dohnlee Isom Preston##imported-end##
After my grandmother died in the late seventies, Aunt Lorena assumed Grandma's practice of writing letters to me. We've exchanged almost monthly letters and/or phone calls for nearly thirty years. Uncle Donald and Aunt Lorena were always available to meet me at the Portland airport on my trips home and there was always a room ready and waiting for me at their house. They even drove me to Eastern Oregon when my mother was gravely ill. Aunt Lorena was the glue that held our family together. She kept track of family births, marriages, deaths and important events and generously shared everything with me when I decided to trace our family history. I loved her dearly and will miss her always. My heart goes out to her family, but especially to her daughter, Patty, who was the light of Lorena's life.##imported-begin##Jean Sadler##imported-end##
Words cannot cover the giant gap Aunt Lorena's death leaves in all of our lives. Her love of life, family and friends surrounds us through the many sweet memories that comfort us as we each remember her and - will never forget her.##imported-begin##Barbara Daniels##imported-end##
