Malyssa had a beautiful soul. She was a writer, artist, musician and athelete. She looked up to me as her older sister, but I look up to her for who she was.

My heart is so sad. I worked with Malyssa at the pool. Our children grew up together and at one point my daughter Kayleen and her daughter Chloe were inseparable. I always enjoyed listening to her adventures in Jamaica. She was the maid of honor in my wedding many moons ago. At one point her and I were real close friends. She always was smiling. She rarely let anyone see her sadden or distraught. She was a rock for her family. She will be missed. I truly hope I can attend her celebration of life. May she rest in paradise and family can find peace. May family and friends be wrapped in God's peace, the peace that passes understanding.
