My mother and I visited with Betty a few times, usually in her home, but also at the Sr. Services Center and she once visited me in my home. During nearly all visits, Betty commented on what a good husband Paul was, how proud she was of her children and so thrilled with her grand children. She was very family-oriented. We were so saddened to hear that your mother passed away. It was lovely to read about the long and full life she lived, having battled and beaten cancer and watched grandchildren and great grandchildren come into this world. What a treasure you have in the all-women, 4 generation family photo taken with one great granddaughter and family last year.

Mary and I shared many conversations when she would visit me at Bank of the West. Her deep faith was an inspiration to me and others. I left the bank in early March and knowing Mary for the 11 and 1/2 years I was there is one of my most cherished memories.
