So very sorry to hear that she has passed...she and her husband were great examples of community people standing tall!!! Always a delight to be in their home...and girls...I'm sorry...very sorry...for your loss! She was a great great woman!!!
Aunt Mary will always be remembered in our hearts as a wonderful example of hospitality and love for God's people. I spent time in their home as a young girl, while my dad was in the hospital and my mom was tending to him. There are many fond memories form that time. She was indeed a prayer warrior, faithfully praying for each one of us through all the changes in our lives. showing how much she cared.
I remember how she always had cookies or something special on hand to share when we visited. While these cookies are not nearly as good as hers, it seemed a fitting tribute to her memory.

I will always remember Aunt Mary for her special gift of hospitality, her love of the Lord shined through! She had a laugh that was uniquely her... As a young girl, I spent many times in their home while my dad was in the hospital and my mom was tending to him. Those are wonderful memories for me. Aunt Mary was indeed a prayer warrior, a loving and faithful friend and auntie! She always managed to keep up with us kids through all our changes in life and made us feel cared for.
