Hey dad, it’s your youngest daughter. You never got the chance to meet me but I wish you had. 20 years of my life without you has been super hard. To the family and friends of Mike... my heart felt condolences go out to you. Mike and I were very close friends back in the late 80's and early 90's. We lived next door to one another in Tigard and worked at Smith's Home Furnishings together for many years. Regrettably we did not get to know Mike well outside of the two seasons he was involved with coaching our youth lacrosse teams. We will remember him for his easy smile and the way he loved coaching the kids. He was new to the game of lacrosse, but was excited to learn so that he could do what he loved - coaching youth sports. He loved being with the kids and they knew it. He will be sorely missed by us all.

I'm an old friend of Mike's. I'm so sorry for your loss. I never had the opportunity to meet you but Mike always spoke very highly of his parents and his children. He was a great man, fun, funny and his dimples always made me smile. We dated for a short time several years ago but always remained friends. He will surely be missed by all. Greetings to Mike's family.....we just wanted to tell you that we're so shocked and saddened about Mike's passing. He coached our son Jake for 3 seasons - 2 Lacrosse and 1 football. We all hit it off right away, and appreciated his passion for sports and for helping the kids. He was a fun guy and a good man. We'll miss him.
