We're so saddened with this news, Kay & Sonny have been such good friends for so many years began with Sonny in 1947 Longview, Washington. We're so VERY thankful that we've had our friend reunions these past few years, we had the opportunity to catch up on old times and spend many quality hours and days together. You will be forever in our hearts and memeories our most precious Sonny. I know this is a healing time for you and your family Kay, please give our love to Lynda and we'll see you this Summer. We wish, so much, that we could attend the Celebration of Sonny's life....our Daughter Cyndi and Husband Bill will stop by for us and extend our love and thoughts to everyone. Please know, Dear Sonny, you will forever tip-toe across our hearts & minds. Take good care of yourself Kay, time will help somewhat in that effort.##imported-begin##Colleen McCorkle/Arnold Jackmond##imported-end##
My heartfelt condolances to Sonny's family. We were high school classmates and teammates. As happens so often we went our separate ways, but I often reflected on the good times we had and spoke of Sonny's wonderful athletic abilities. And I always remember how kind he was to me and others. God bless Sonny and his family.##imported-begin##Derwin Williams##imported-end##

Sonny, I'll always remember your sweetness, your big, handsome smile and the way you always looked out for us. You were like another Dad to us as kids, but a friend as we grew up, always making us feel like we were special to you. I will miss you. Love, Stefanie##imported-begin##Stefanie Davis##imported-end##
It's difficult to write something like this about someone that I have been so close to my whole life. He was a sweet caring man that always treated me like I was one of his own. He always had time for us, even if all we wanted was to tell him what we'd been doing all day.
Some of my fondest memories are of us standing around in the garage bottling root beer, and dancing to Englebert at the many parties they had. Recalling childhood memories always makes me feel better when I've had a bad day. I often enjoy my memories of going to Hood's Canal. Sonny was always the life of the party as he shot oysters and dove for starfish to bring up for everyone to see.
I know our lives would have been different if Sandy were still with us, but even after all the loss and years I am grateful to have had 2 sets of parents and that Lynda and I have grown closer as the years go on. I feel thankful to have had the chance to have an adult relationship with him too. He continued to show me the same love as he always had.
I will always miss Sonny and will cherish how much he enriched my life.##imported-begin##Sue##imported-end##

It is impossible to find the words to describe the sadness I feel about the loss of Mr E. He was the best father any daughter could ever hope for, and one of those super supportive and fun husbands we all wish we had. We all love you Mr. E and will miss you dearly. We will keep your wonderful family in our hearts and prayers as they get through this most difficult time.##imported-begin##Debbie and Glenn Schneider##imported-end##
What can you say about a man that has been in your life since you were born!! Sonny was the best looking friend my dad ever had. I have so many great memories and not enough room to write it all down. I'm so grateful to know him and love him. All we had to hear was sonny and kay were coming and we would wait at the window to see them drive in. I will miss you!!##imported-begin##diane adams timonen##imported-end##
