Unfortunately, We're at that age where these things seem to happen frequently. Never the less, the shock of losing childhood friends is a difficult ordeal. Pat and I spoke on the phone the week before his passing. We discussed his recent fishing trip on the Snake river and our reunion in September. Our friendship spanned 56 years. We spent a lot of time together when I was going through cancer recovery in 2001. We talked of Vals untimely passing in 1999... how we both missed her. God bless his soul. He and Val are together again. They'll both be looking down on us and smiling as we rock the night away at our 50 year high school reunion.##imported-begin##Vance and Linda Klaus##imported-end##
