Sharon Kay Hart's Obituary
Funeral Services will be held, 12:30pm, Friday, July 13th at the Discovery Christian Center, 6030 SE 136th, Portland. Sharon passed away on July 4th in her daughter's home surrounded by the love of family. She was 76 years old.
Sharon was born on April 25, 1936 in Knoxville, Iowa to Ernest Elver and Roxy Aldene Parker Tamerius fourth of six children. The family moved to the Gresham area when she was a young child attending Orient grade School and Gresham High School. Sharon married Dean Miller in 1953 and from this marriage they raised four children, they later divorced. In 1982 she married James C. Hart in Portland and they were married for 27 years before he predeceased her in 2009. Sharon lived in Portland most of her adult life and owned, operated, and was administrator for several nursing homes. Sharon loved the sun, golf, shopping, traveling; but most of all her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Ron Miller, Phyllis Hess, Sheryl Kaufman and Brenda Keirnan. Step children; Lance & James Hart, Karman Vulcani. 11 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Siblings; Dwight Tamerius, Norma Walter, Bonnie Tuttle and Doris Tate. Step-siblings; Jean Hansen, Clayton Magruder. Predeceased by sister, Carol Mullen.
