Stan was our next door neighbor and a better one you couldn't have. Always ready with a helping hand. We shared some mornings together in a duck blind. Good hunting Stan and a warm campfire.
UNDER the wide and starry sky
Dig the grave and let me lie:
Glad did I live and gladly die,
And I laid me down with a will.
This be the verse you 'grave for me:
Here he lies where he long'd to be;
Home is the sailor, home from the sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.

Florence and Family-I am so sorry to hear of Stan's passing. He was a great guy. I will always remember going to the Wagner Ranch in Scappoose with my dad,brother, and sister when we were younger. We ran all over the place, building forts and chasing cows, while my dad used to help Stan cut firewood and do things around the ranch. As we got older we used to ride our horses there and always had a blast, racing in the fields and jumping over fallen trees. I will always be grateful to Stan and Florence for helping out my parents when my dad lost his job, if it wasnt for them, they would have lost their house. Stan gave my dad work around the ranch to make some money and it helped Stan out when he couldnt get out as much anymore and do the things he loved. The land in Scappoose will always be the Wagner Ranch to me. Rest in peace Stan, you will be missed##imported-begin##Jaime Vandercook Arnott##imported-end##
It was a pleasure to work for & with you Stan. You always give me a job when I needed it and you always spoke well of my grandfather and that means alot to me. Rest in peace Stan.
