Theodore E. White's Obituary
Theodore Edward White was born on October 6, 1942 in Portland, Oregon to Edward & Ellen (Larson) White.
He died on December 17, 2013 at Caretique Care Center in Vancouver, Washington at the age of 71.
He was the eldest of 3 boys and graduated from Astoria High School in 1960 and OSU in 1964. He moved to Scappoose in 1960 and was in the Army Reserve during the Vietnam era.
He worked in sales for Park Davis from 1964-1966, White Home Furnishings 1966-1989, Metro Real Estate Company 1988-2002, and Schering-Plough as a pharmaceutical rep from 2000-2004.
Ted was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, board of directors of the OSU Bookstore for 4 years, Sergeant of Arms-freshman class at OSU, Card stunts at OSU Football games and many student government and other activities at OSU.
He enjoyed gardening and his 2 times a day walks to Fred Meyers to have coffee with the guys.
Survivors include: Wife: Prudence White of Scappoose; Son: Jason White (Joelle) of Vaneta, Oregon; Brothers: Ken White (Peggy) of Georgetown, Texas; Michael White (Teri) of Vancouver, Washington; 2 Grandchildren: Nina & Max and numerous step grandchildren.
Funeral Mass: Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church Scappoose, Oregon.
Private Inurnment: Columbia Memorial Gardens - Scappoose, Oregon
