Maxine, David, Sandy & children and family, my heart goes out to you at the loss of Dud. We who grieve are the ones left behind, but Dud is experiencing joy unspeakable. May you draw strength from the hope of God's eternal glory. I remember many walks up the driveway to their A-frame house when Maria, Megan & Maureen were little. It was surrounded by gorgeous gardens, the koi pond and waterfall, fruit trees and fields of hay. Dud & Maxine were always so welcoming and shared their bounty with others. Because they "adopted" the Darbys as family, I felt like I belonged too. Dud's was a life well-lived - that's what I will remember.
