Wilbert S. Cook's Obituary
Wilbert S. Cook was born on December 21, 1918 in Wauna, Oregon to William & Sophia Bertilsen Cook.
He died at a St. Helens nursing home on February, 12, 2009 at the age of 90.
He lived his entire life here and attended Scappoose High School. His last occupation was a carpenter for a building contractor for 10 years, retiring in 1983.
He married Maxine Shadley on September 1, 1940 in Vancouver, WA.
He was a member of Warren Community Fellowship Church and he enjoyed building in his shop and flowers.
Survivors include: Wife: Maxine Cook of St. Helens; Son: David Cook Sandy of Columbia City; Siblings: Delores Patterson of Scappoose; Shirley Eaton of St. Helens; William Cook of Vancouver, WA.; Murvyn Cook of Scappoose; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Viewing & visitation: 9-5 Friday
Funeral Service: Saturday, 2/21/2009 at 2:00 PM both at Columbia Funeral Home.
Committal service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
Reception to follow at Warren Community Fellowship Church.
